U.S. appeals court rejects mortgage database suit

``A U.S. appeals court dismissed a lawsuit against several mortgage lenders over home loans maintained within the industry's private electronic database [MERS], according to a ruling'' -- Note that this still doesn't excuse practices like false assignments of the mortgage after a foreclosure has been filed (or in any number of other fraudulent conditions).
