New Effort to Keep Del. Extreme Makeover Home Out of Foreclosure

Volunteers coordinating the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project are working to avoid an extreme disappointment.

The television show will surprise a Sussex County family with a new home next week. Local volunteers have drafted a unique idea to help the chosen family avoid foreclosure months after the TV cameras leave.

Published reports indicate at least five Extreme Makeover homes around the country have gone into foreclosure.
