More Than 50 Percent of American Homeowners Bogged Down by Underwater Mortgages

"A national telephone survey of American homeowners conducted by Rasmussen Reports has found that only 49 percent of those surveyed believe their home is worth more than their mortgage. This figure is up from the company's June findings of 45 percent, it is still just the third time this survey has fallen below the 50 percent mark since late 2008."
