This is total nonsense; virtually all the benefit in the unemployment rate comes from "seasonal adjustment"; unadjusted is 9.5%. U-6 (including under-employment) not-seasonally adjusted is 16.7%. Yes, all measures of "unemployment" are lower than a year ago, even not-seasonally-adjusted, but since then the BLS has revised nearly 3 million people out of the labor force. See it yourself
