Whalen Interview, 10/23/10

Some great stuff in this; (paraphrasing) "You have to get rid of the para-statal entities, the GSEs and the Fed. They are anti-democratic and predatory. They are harming those they are supposed to benefit the most. You have to liquidate them". Whalen also gives some remarks of counter-spin on the foreclosure crisis (we think he is a bit breezy regarding the legitimacy of MERS, however, but maybe he is right in that somehow UCC justifies MERS, even though it makes contradictory representations about itself).
