David Vitter, Jeff Sessions offer bill to raise liability cap after Gulf oil spill

" A proposal by U.S. Sens. David Vitter, R-La., and Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., would raise the $75 million liability cap on oil spills in a manner that would leave BP on the hook for up to $20 billion in economic and environmental damages for the Deepwater Horizon accident in the Gulf of Mexico."
