Attorney Paul Lucas of the Lucas Law Center in Aliso Viejo, set up his practice in 2008 to help California homeowners obtain loan modifications. Thirteen months later, after successfully modifying roughly 530 mortgages, he found his law firm being closed down by FTC agents. His assets were frozen, and a court appointed receiver was now calling all the shots as far as the Lucas Law Firm was concerned.
One day he was working hard to save homeowners from losing their homes to foreclosure, and the next day he was being called a threat to the public. That’s the day I first met Paul Lucas.
