"New York had its coolest June since 1985, according to government data, and it’s heading toward its second-coolest July in 140 years of record-keeping, idling air conditioners. June power bills dropped $100,000 at each of three 1 million square- foot Manhattan buildings that EnergyWatch helps run, Raphaelson said. The decline was almost $72,000, or 61 percent, at a Manhattan hospital, said Adam Fairbanks, a spokesman for Con Edison Solutions, a unit of Consolidated Edison Inc."
