Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. snapped a three-day decline in New York trading after Merrill Lynch & Co. told clients to buy the shares, saying the stock price already reflects an expected second-quarter loss. But does the stock price reflect the subtraction from the bottom line of the company buying back its own stock? Probably not.
