It gets worse: "the Chapter 11 filing won't stop other pending litigation filed recently against HomeBanc. Local real estate law firm Neel & Robinson LLC has sued in Fulton County Superior Court, alleging HomeBanc bounced checks totaling $1.7 million for real estate closing costs, beginning in late July. That suit was filed on Aug. 8, one day after HomeBanc announced it was suspending mortgage operations."
