Unfortunately that is going to continue.

I was talking to an old customer of mine. His company enacted a 100% turnover in the ranks of his workers. All highly paid workers were replaced with lower wage workers over a two year period.

So much for job security

Week ending 10/22, jobless claims came in down 2000 to 402,000

Prior week was revised up from 403,000 to 404,000

That 400K number is proving to be very sticky

Looks like we're headed back into 4-handle territory.

First week of 2012, Seasonally Adjusted claims soared to 399,000, the highest since November. Last week's number was revised upward from 372K to 375K

Gotta love this "recovery" ...

Who didnt see that coming there are no jobs... remember when McD's was doing that massive hiring they had on avg 100 applicants per opening... was reported over a million applicants!

We dont make anything here we produce nothing.

Whats even sadder is when the job numbers are good they applaud them being 2-300K! Thats 2-300K out of work, nothing to cheer about.

I've been in a new job field for over a year now. Correctional officer, and I don't even feel any job security here. The prison I work at is at record low inmate population. Although I do know that there are still a lot of prisons who need officers, I don't know how much longer the one I work at will. If it closes there will be no work but Mc D's or Wal Mart where I live.
