Check out this list of upcoming FHA training and information opportunities. If you can attend the free classes and seminars in your area, please do not miss the opportunity- especially for the Direct Endorsement classes offered by FHA.

However, if you are new to FHA loans, please don't hold off on training from other sources. A lack of knowledge can cost you and your borrowers money as well as cost you business. Additionally, by obtaining pre-training, you'll get more out of the classes and seminars.

September 16, 2008 – San Antonio, TX. Basic Direct Endorsement Underwriting. FREE, one-day class covers basic FHA underwriting procedures and updates. The class is geared toward all beginner underwriters, loan officers and processors and will provide a thorough understanding of underwriting FHA-insured loans. Registration required. September 17, 2008 – San Antonio, TX. Advanced Direct Endorsement Underwriting. FREE, one-day class covers advanced FHA underwriting procedures and updates. The class is geared toward all experienced underwriters, loan officers and processors and will provide a thorough understanding of more complex situations regarding underwriting FHA-insured loans. Recommended for those with a minimum of 1 year experience of DE underwriting, best for those with 2 to 3 years experience. Registration required. September 18, 2008 – San Antonio, TX. The FHA Appraisal.
