KB Home Construction Defects...they are at it -AGAIN!
PostPosted: Fri Jan 23, 2009 6:22 pm Reply with quoteBack to top

On October last year, we notice that the home we owned was splitting...literally! After contacting government officials, different agencies and KB Home (the manufacturer) we have found out that this is very common for them.

We are simply wanting others to know...www.disposablekbhome.com

100+ people have viewed your statement but did not comment. I will comment on there behalf and say what everyone is thinking. Give it a rest! Your web site shows some settlement cracks and nail pops which are normal! Trying to get paid by KB for normal settlement cracks & nail pops is ridiculous! Did you demand money from the auto maker when your tires started showing wear on them? Of course not.

There are many home buyers, contractors, employees, lenders, developers who have legitimate concerns and are trying to get through a difficult time. Therefore, please stop clogging up this web site with your petty money grab attempt.

KB is at it again

I have been doing drywall for 18 years and some for KB home, I can tell you that what you have is very normal. The homes are built so fast that the wood does not dry out until after homeowners move in and use the a/c and or heat. Think about it, if none of these things happened they would not need a warranty dept.

John R and Callous Homebuilder Comments

For the builders who so callously commented

Spoken like true unregulated homebuilders. Warranty! What Warranty?

Have a little more respect please. Remember this is a public forum. Your reckless disregard for courteous business behavior is reflective of the adversarial attitude of the industry toward the home buying public.

With all of the scathing criticism and possible abolishment of the TRCC now is not the time to bring more attention to the public preception of Bob Perry’s “Builder Protection Agency.” As an employee of Bob Perry Homes one would expect you to have more respect for the company you represent as well as the homebuilding industry.

I would be surprised if Mr. Perry appreciates the self-indulgent manor in which you handled the growing concerns of the industry for a consumer revolt over shoddy homebuilding, the need for builder regulation and licensing, a Home Lemon Law, and the threat that Homeowners for Better Building obviously represents.

When it happens to you, it doesn't really matter how many good houses are out there, now does it?
