Your case came up relative to me...
PostPosted: Sun Oct 03, 2010 1:09 pm Reply with quoteBack to top

I am someone with a journalism background and have worked for the Indianapolis Star and Ohio Call & Post Newspapers but the GOP and Kelly Ayotte keep on keeping me out of events, and I have called on the ACLU to stop it:

I love this video because it wraps all 3 threats to arrest me into one nice 10 minutes segment, and let me tell you the ACLU had better man up on this one......

KingCast Mexican Standoff: GOP, John McCain, Kelly Ayotte tell Attorney William Chapman, KingCast and the First Amendment to go to h**l.

Noted New Hampshire First Amendment and Media Law Attorney William L. Chapman categorically stated:

"Quoting another court decision, the justices noted in the ruling,

“Freedom of the press is a fundamental personal right which is not confined to newspapers and periodicals. ... The press in its historic connotation comprehends every sort of publication which affords a vehicle of information and opinion.

“The informative function asserted by representatives of the organized press ... is also performed by lecturers, political pollsters, novelists, academic researchers, and dramatists. Almost any author may quite accurately assert that he is contributing to the flow of information to the public...”
That ruling suggests that opinioned bloggers are also journalists, Chapman said."

“I can think of no case where a blogger would be treated differently (than a print journalist under the law),” Chapman said.

********

PS: In my other Kelly Ayotte vids you can see where she ignored wire fraud when someone forged my name to a mortgage and sent it up for funding, I was a Title Insurance Producer. She's a big business dupe, totally.

Good to see you fighting the good fight to hold onto what is left of our vanishing "First Amendment" rights.

Yes, not only is it Bill Chapman's opinion that you should be able to come and go freely (like the traditional media) when reporting on political candidates and politicians, but the New Hampshire Supreme Court decision in our case (The Mortgage Specialists vs. Implode-Explode Heavy Industries) explicitly says you are the media (its based on what you do, not who you are, who pays you, who approves of you, what your personal views and affiliations are, or what your certifications are).

I know what its like to be strong-armed by politicians as well. Last summer at a health care "town hall" put on by congressman Hank Johnson, I had my personal reading materials confiscated by his police goons (like the one that was posted to keep you out), then was thrown out for being seated next to someone he didn't like (who asked, and Hank Johnson answered, how he considered the health care bill constitutional).

Anyway, both parties, as well as corporations, need to be kept in check, and the free press (open to all) is the best and (last remaining) way to do it.

Which is of course why they are doing everything they can to stop us from having 1st amendment rights in practice.

That's what's up, and I explained it clear as day to Kelly Ayotte, the GOP and the Entire Free World right here in this post, Exhibit 2 to the Jury (Exhibit 1 is obviously the video).

As I said to one of my detractors with whom I will have a beer on his safe return from Active Duty:

Well Paul, here's The Deal:

Quote:
As I noted, I have said good things about Kelly Ayotte as well. If I were to show up at her events, which are open to all other journalists, and say only good things, Kelly would have no problem with me. But she can't have it that way brother, doesn't work like that in America.

Simple.

As to my acumen as a journalist, I'm clearly a journalist. History as a reporter with a daily and an editor with a weekly, radio shows over the past several months and a new assignment coming shortly.

Your contention that I somehow become something less than a journalist because I have probing or negative questions for Kelly does not hold Constitutional muster, pure and simple.

Plus I never disrupted anything at any rally, and you saw the Gentlemen who is the Professor at Dartmouth noted "we were having a good conversation."

'Nuff sed.

***********

Plus, Kelly Ayotte specifically treated me as a journalist on prior occasion, when she passed out press packs to local media:
http://christopher-king.blogsp.....-this.html

What can a Decision Maker (Judge, Jury) say to that except, "Well Mr. King she no longer views you as a journalist because she didn't like what you wrote after you received the press pack..... which of course is the very viepoint-based Unconstitutional activity of which I complain.

Injunction granted, Summary Judgment to Plaintiff, case closed, parties to submit pleadings on the question of Damages.

Yeah, whereas she ever treated you on par with "traditional" journalists in the past, you have a pretty solid case, should any of this ever end up in court (are you suing?)

I write with full authority to write each and every one of you pursuant to New Hampshire Law to notify you of impending litigation and to note Kelly Ayotte's well-documented abject failure to protect women and children.

I have received Police Chief Conley's cryptic response to my well-reasoned complaint. It is devoid of any legal reference whatsoever, and Attorney Bennett has gone on record as noting that he was abdicating his authority to the Police Chief, whom I do not believe holds a law degree, you can correct me in Court if I am wrong on that assertion.

Therefore I can only assume at this point that you all desire this matter to be resolved by the Courts.

Suit yourselves.

Very Truly Yours,

Christopher King, J.D.
