Stock market down big today, and gold held onto some modest gains. Nice to see.

From the Man - Jim Sinclair:

Quote:
QE to infinity – there is no other choice. There is no other functional tool in anyone’s toolbox to stop camouflaged runs on the bank.

QE to Infinity in the western financial world is assured. As a result, gold in the $2000s is coming soon.

Anyone have an opinion on $PSAU

It is a powershares precious metals ETF

Looking for an alternative metals play as the "Misery Index" approaches 35%

From Jim Sinclair "Mr. Gold"

Quote:
Gold is headed now into the $2000s with extreme violence.

Jim

I'll be really surprized if it takes that long. I think it's headed there right now with this rally, though $2000 will probably act as resistance & maybe we won't decisively break through until MAR.

Lots of wild cards though ... Europe, Iranian nukes, QE3 ...

I believe that U R correct bdc. Jim Sinclair thinks the same. I did not want to be overly bullish...or dire...depending on your view.

If we have QE3 and Europe beaking up...and a strike on Iranian nuke sites...well we may see $3000 by COB March 2012...

1799.5 ... continued to rally even after gold closed at 2:30, right through the close of NYSE.

Rallied while stocks were negative. Rallied when stocks went positive. Held up when the latest "Europe is saved!" rumor was floated.

I like it! ... But I'm sure they'll try to smack it down when Asia opens tonight.
