Not looking good when you see one beat up truck in upscale community parked in front of three houses, which have been standing for months. No other workers around for weeks. Then today out walk three guys. The youngest looked about 13-14 other maybe 16 years old, the adult mid 20's, It appeared they were laying tile and painting. You bet there is quality work going on inside that home. What has happen to the building industry when it's okay to send kids to do work on job sites. Is that legal in Texas?

That's what happens when your dealing with a 1st class builder. I wonder if the Div. Pres of Houston is aware? You might want to wait till after 10:00am to contact him. Today is Friday he likes to start his weekend early he maybe sleeping in this morning. Wink

Wonder no more, no way he couldn't know. The DP of Houston is in this neighborhood several times per week. He comes here for meetings in the "Corporate" construction trailer.
Rather than call him myself, as soon as he arrives, I'll post the phone numbers.
If it's against Texas state building laws, then any builder reading this should be concerned and give Tom a call.

I'm sure he knows he just doesn't care as long as he is getting paid.( He will not last in his position) I a sure you Mercedes is going down, faster than the Titanic! I just don't see how they will recover in the mess they are in. Mercedes has so many law suits and more to come. I feel for every home owner that bought a house from MH. My advise would be to get an attorney to protect yourself.

Three vehicles are now parked at "Corporate" trailer. DP Tom arrived about 9 am and the last one pulled in at 9:05 am. If anyone want to call DP Tom Cawthon, the trailer number is (281) 207-6455 or if you would like call his cell number (281)309-8712

FYI: There are now workers showing up to be paid (I'm guessing) by the pacing around outside the trailer. On the house where the kids were working yesterday - a different worker who drives back and forth from San Antonio is working. On another house there are workers putting brick on a wet house...up on scaffolding without hard hats...Is that legal in the State of Texas?

I've looked on the internet for a phone number, no luck. Anyone have it?
