Of course, what you fail to mention is that a few of those attorneys and firms are on your "trusted firm" list of companies that you "thoroughly" checked out.
I applaud the CA Bar for providing notice of material information, such as the fact that firms are being investigated and/or have received a high number of complaints.
Negative information on modification companies and attorneys is not forthcoming from this site (especially in regard to paying sponsors). In fact, one particular company was taken off the list with nary a word on the company's closure.
The last thing that the economy and homeowners need is the foreclosure crisis to be replaced with an even worse crisis known as the foreclosure modification scam crisis.
