When I was growing up it was rare that I got spanked by my dad. The times I did was because I did something egregious, and he felt he had to make certain I remembered my mistake. It was always preceded with either "This is going to hurt me, more that it gonna hurt you" or, "The reason I'm going to spank you is because I love you and you need to learn."
I know that corporal punishment is considered barbaric by todays enlightened elitests. But I must say....I learned from those spankings. What I learned was that I didn't like to experience pain, and I did my best to avoid it in the future. In short...I rarely made the same stupid mistake twice. If it makes the enlightened ones feel better, we could call them love swats or epidermus admonishmments. If that offends some, I'm certain we could come up with some similarly pansy assed description.
The truth is...our elected leaders need a behavioral change....YESTERDAY!
I'm in! I vote for sticks!....and if that doesn't work, we could get really big friggin sticks! And if that doesn't work, waterboarding should be an option.
Because, I love my Country... and we need answers fast...and our leaders must learn AND remember their mistakes.
